Omotayo Ogunlade

Tayo is an entrepreneurial-spirited technologist with over eight years of experience. He identifies, qualifies, builds consensus for, and implements enabling technologies and enterprise systems that facilitate business processes and strategic objectives. His powerful blend of technological vision and business acumen results in his consistent development of powerful business strategies supported by cost-effective, high-performance IT infrastructures and applications. With a bachelor's degree from the prestigious Covenant University, he possesses broad expertise in IT, Software Engineering, Full Project Life Cycle Management, and Relationship Management.

Tayo was previously with Upperlink limited for 8 years where he served in various capacities (QA Expert, Product Development, Payment System Specialist, Project Management, Support Engineer, Negotiator). Prior to his exit from Upperlink, he managed teams that designed and developed industry-wide products cut across education, banking, and government sectors. These products are currently being used in several Universities, top commercial banks, and state governments in Nigeria and other West African countries.

Tayo presently leads the technology team as the Chief Technology Officer at BAXI where he pioneered the setting up of the local technology team to develop and architect the BAXI digital platform which led to the successful acquisition by MFS AFRICA in a space of 2 years.

He is a certified ethical hacker and a trained technical project manager.

He is a quiet internet surfer who enjoys his free time with his family and skillfully plays the talking drum.
